Traveling is my passion and collecting information on various topics is another. During my leisure time I visit different websites which give interesting information that add to my knowledge and where I can comment and exchange information with. Recently while net surfing I came across a very interesting website which gave quite a few blogs having correct and interesting information. There were wonders of the world along with scientific discoveries, history, geography, you name it and it was there.
There has always been Seven Wonders of the World which has been changing with the times. The seven wonders of the medieval Ages are different from the seven wonders of the ancient world, which are again different from the seven wonders of the modern age. The Wonders of the world are truly great. Just imagine the Victoria falls with the water gushing down reminds me of the Niagara Falls of the US and Canada, though Victoria Falls is definitely much more spectacular. Going through the creation of the Panama Canal and how it has shortened the route and saved millions of dollars is truly interesting.
The next blogs give information of Sustainable Homes, Unique showers which change color depending upon the temperature of the shower so that a person can just know the warmth of the shower by looking at it instead of shivering or getting boiled; followed by an article on Bluetooth watches which help those who forget their mobiles at home. All these blogs make good reading and are a delight to go through.
Did you know that a 2,500 years old Greek Ship has been discovered lying on the sea bed off the Sicilian coast Italy? Isn't it amazing that the sea water has not spoilt this ship? That the artifacts can still be collected from this ship after all these years? It is certainly a well preserved wreck. Studies suggest that a storm might have created havoc and blown off this ship, tore a hole and sunk it to the bottom of the sea. What a pity! So many lives must have been lost.
