Luxury real estate is a niche market in the real estate business. This niche is concentrated on the upper strata of the society. This group consists of people who are economically heavy weight.
Although the definition of luxury real estate varies from country to country, however, there are some criterion which are common to all countries. Luxury real estate usually has a large size, all modern amenities, beautiful structuring and a prestigious address. These houses may have a well chosen and unique location. For example, many a luxury properties are located next to a river or on an exclusive island.
These exclusive homes usually have a high cost associated with it. This cost is due to buying property in an exclusive neighbourhood. With the high price come a lot of facilities like large open spaces, a large number of rooms etc. Luxury real estate may have additional facilities like a swimming pool, a gym etc, according to the wishes of the owner. These exclusive properties usually have very scenic or breathtaking views. These views may be of the city, any special landmark, of waterfronts etc. What is common amongst all these properties is that these properties are away from clutter and hustle bustle associated with large cities. The exclusive properties may have additional benefits like having a golf course nearby etc. You will find many celebrities or high profile people like politicians, business men or artists owning properties in these neighbourhoods. Since these people have an image to live up to, or have enough money to afford the best things in life, they want to get the very best for their homs.
and thus come into being these ultra modern, ultra luxury dwellings. Due to obvious reasons, such houses are fitted with the most modern security systems.
It is desirable that the interiors of luxury homes be done up very well. Therefore, professional decorators are hired and every minute detail of the property is taken into consideration. The owners may get these houses done up in a theme of their choice. However, one thing for sure is that all of these properties have a beautiful interior of exterior.
The location of exclusive properties is very important. Usually, the properties are located in exclusive neighbourhood, where all the houses belong to the same category and all residents belong to the upper segment of the society. This is due to the fact that any person who buys a luxury home will surely want to have similar company.
What sets these homes apart from the normal homes is the value associated with the houses. Although many properties may be large enough as compared these luxury homes, but might not fall under the category of exclusive property. Usually, these houses have a special team for selling these properties. Specialized attorneys are hired for buying and selling of such properties.
